This is Gary Jules ballad acoustic version of Mad World. This version is played in the open position, whereas the original version had the capo much further up the fretboard, and if you wish to play this version with the original recording you will have to move the capo down to the first fret, and of course, all the chords and tabs will have to be shifted up one fret as well.
I’ve suggested some enhancements in the form of alternative strumming, picking and an intro riff, which makes it possible to add to this song as you gain experience.
